BROMLEY
Hi, I'm Sarah.
I am a Senior User Experience / Product Designer with 15 years experience in the digital world, working on multi-channel ecommerce website designs, digital strategies, user research projects and most recently designing and building websites for small businesses.
My passions lie in problem solving, sketching, learning from users and designing experiences to fix key problems. I especially enjoy understanding user behaviour and applying that insight to design effective online experiences, whilst at the same time juggling business needs and technical limitations.
My recent business venture has given me a huge interest in helping small businesses achieve their goals and highlighting to them the importance of User Experience as part of their digital and website strategy.

Working through complex problems and ensuring any solution I design works for the customer, but can also satisfy the technical requirements and desires of the business.

Having worked on many different contracts over the past 11 years I have been exposed to many different ways of working and picked up a lot of different skills and techniques depending on what has been required.

I have worked closely with small businesses for the past 2 years, building websites for them in WIX and Shopify, and this has helped me to build up a lot of insights on how people interact with websites and how certain things we may deem as being super important, ordinary users may not. This has emphasised to me the importance of user research and testing, and never to "assume".

I ask difficult questions and don't have any problem in challenging something that may not be right for the customer or the business.

I love getting stuck in and am at my happiest creating complex wireframes, user flows and prototypes.
